The Winds of Change are ringing the Wild Bells

‘Love is a dangerous word to those who fear losing control. Love is a wild wind and no one knows which way it blows’ Jason Upton

Big Ben

The wild winds of change are rattling through the UK once more, silencing the old religious answers and ways of doing stuff. Wild bells of fulfilment are ringing again.

A few weeks ago at the last Northern Glory I prophesied that we are in the season of ‘fulfilment’. I prophesied that as a sign of this Big Ben would be on the main news within a couple of weeks.

Sure enough a few weeks later Big Ben was in the main news because the bell is being silenced for several months for repair work. (Obviously I didn’t know this when I prophesied it). It is first time repair work like this is to be done on it in 160 years. Read about it here.

So what’s the significance of all this then? God’s voice rings louder than the noise from the age old traditions of man. God is interrupting business as usual to challenge the ways we have done stuff before. We love relying on our trusted and traditional formulas so we import the models, the programs, the things that seem to work in revivals all around the world, we get the books and listen to the podcasts, whatever works elsewhere, we’ll try it! Everything except the actual whack.  We love to rely on the manmade instead of the mystical. It can hide our unbelief!

All the noise made by our striving is being silenced. In the space the sound of the voice of God at rest, in fulfilment and living in Grace is being heard. It’s the sound of the Wild Bells from Heaven. It is time for us to get whacked, get a bit of the anointing and pioneer something new which will have global impact.

God is speaking and it’s the sound of fulfilment that is ringing out. It is calling the wild fire prophets to attention and the crazy apostles to wake up. It is sounding to those who have dared to believe there’s a different way, to those have believed in promises. The sound of the Father’s faithfulness to fulfil his promises can be heard again. The bells of fulfilment are ringing out to the prophetic promises that are hanging over the UK.

Simeon

Simeon is a symbol for our time. God started to speak to me about Simeon and I messaged a prophet friend of mine who said they too had been thinking about Simeon that same day.

Simeon was a prophet waiting on the fulfilment of God’s promises in Luke 2. His name means ‘he has heard’.  He was a man the Spirit was on. He lived in the anointing. He had heard and seen something different, something wild from Heaven which had stirred his soul to believe; he was filled with a Joy and anticipation that got him whacked. He had experienced something powerful enough to determine his life and lived to see the fulfilment of it. When the baby Jesus turned up in the temple Simeon announced ‘Sovereign Lord as you have promised… My eyes have seen your salvation…which you have prepared for in the sight of all nations.’ Simeon lived to see fulfilment and the faithfulness of God.

It is interesting to compare him to Zechariah, John the Baptist’s father. Both men eventually saw the fulfilment of prophecies. Both men saw something, Zechariah had an angelic visitation from Gabriel about the same events but responded in unbelief.  Zechariah couldn’t believe there was something different to business as usual and like Big Ben was silenced. Simeon however, lived in the Spirit and caught a glimpse of something which would affect nations, he met Jesus.

Jesus was and is fulfilment, he embodies fulfilment. He wasn’t just a Prophet but was the fulfilment of the Prophetic Word.  Jesus says of himself in Matthew that He came to fulfil the Law and the Prophets. Galatians 4 says ‘But when the fulfilment of the time came, God sent his Son.’ Hebrews describes it as being the ‘culmination of the ages’. So in the incarnation you have God coming, bringing fulfilment, answers, breakthrough. He is the Manifestation of Fulfilment. It is in the Father’s very nature that He is faithful to fulfil His Promises and so Jesus is God’s answer, Jesus embodies God’s faithfulness. He is the embodiment of fulfilment.

Jesus is the sound spoken from the Father’s lips. He is the sound of the wild fire of God’s love. He is the sound of fulfilment.

Emmaus

Fulfilment is walking next to you. But you won’t believe it until you see it. I love the story of the guys on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24. They were walking filled with disappointment, downcast, thinking the promises they had believed in were over, Jesus had failed, it was all a lie. Yet Jesus, having overcome death, resurrected and living in the fulfilment of all things and was standing right next to them. Jesus began to speak and they started to hear a different sound from Heaven. As they listened to his voice their eyes opened to see Jesus face to face – the Manifestation of their desires right before them. The Fire on the voice of God burned in their hearts. It burned fulfilment and the breakthrough of Jesus into them. It burned through the dark clouds of their disappointment to bring breakthrough to their hearts. This caused them to enter into fulfilment.

There’s a different sound from Heaven ringing out. God is speaking and His voice carries the wild Fire of His love that will burn in your heart. It manifests fulfilment to the promises He has spoken. It brings the Wild Fire of breakthrough to rest in our lives so that we can say like Simeon, ‘As you have promised… now my eyes have seen…’ The face of Jesus is being revealed and is being branded into our hearts. This is causing the manifestation and release of fulfilment to the promises over our lives. Promises are going to be fulfilled right in front of our eyes.

The manifestation of fulfilment

Wesley is a guy who walked in fulfilment, a true prophet, when he walked around he brought the Wild Fire of breakthrough. He embodied fulfilment in that he walked in the accomplishments of Jesus; authority, power and lived in Christ’s breakthrough. He had an encounter with Jesus which ignited his heart with a Wild Fire – this lead him to say his now famous phrase ‘my heart was strangely warmed’. It was this fire that people gathered to see in the thousands. They climbed trees to catch a glimpse of this guy to be warned by other people that they would fall out under the power of God. Thousands would be gathered, shaking under the shadow of the Fire that Wesley carried. He truly impacted this nation. He said ‘catch on fire and others will come to see you burn’.

I believe fulfilment looks different for different people, obviously we each have promises from God that are different and will be for different areas of life.

But I believe that one of the things that is coming is the same Fire that affected Wesley. The sound of Heaven, wild bells ringing out is releasing this Wild Fire. Two guys on the road to Emmaus had an encounter with the embodiment of fulfilment and it burned a breakthrough in to their hearts. Jesus spoke and it warmed their hearts like Wesley.

So to try and summarise what God is saying here:

  • God is challenging the traditional religious ways of doing stuff that come from the business as usual type mindset.
  • Zechariah and Simeon are symbolic of this time. Zechariah responded to the new with unbelief and was silenced. Simeon lived in the anointing and responded with faith… ‘as you have promised… now my eyes have seen… which you have prepared in the sight of all nations…’ He was privileged to see something in advance of nations.
  • We are in a time of fulfilment.
  • The voice of God will speak like a fire into disappointment and discouragement.
  • Jesus is the embodiment of fulfilment and He is causing the fulfilment of promises to appear in our lives.
  • Fulfilment will burn like a wild fire in our hearts so we can walk in it.
  • Fulfilment looks like different things but one aspect of it is the fresh manifesation of the John Wesley fire.

Fulfilment is not far off, His name is Jesus and He is standing next to you. He is upholding and sustaining your life.  His Fire will encounter you with resurrection reality. God is faithful to fulfil His promises. Listen to his voice, the sound of fulfilment will burn away your disappointment and discouragement. Be one ‘who has heard’ so that you can live in fulfilment. His Words will brand your heart with breakthrough.

Apostolic Reformation booklet

apostolic reformation 2

I have just completed a booklet on the Apostolic. It looks at what the apostolic is, the difference between Old Covenant and New Covenant Apostles and what the main emphasis for the apostolic is, under the New Covenant.

It also considers what the fulfillment of the apostolic looks like and gives some modern examples where this has taken place.

Harvest Rest pt. 2

Cease from your labours! Stop and let the Spirit swallow you up. Let the heavy weight of His Glory fall on you. I am going to describe an encounter with God I had recently while I was with my family.

My family and I were in Leeds in a place called Lotherton Hall. Its an old stately house with lovely grounds you can walk around near Leeds. We drove up and parked, overlooking the banquenting tent of a wedding. Instantly the weighty Glory of God filled the car and my wife and I were pulled into a trance while we sat there. The Spirit opened up to me and I could see angels approaching the car, they were gathering round and then I was like “angels are great, but wheres Jesus?” They stepped back to reveal a lion standing behind them. I knew it was the Lion of Judah.

As this happened I was lifted up above the car and I could actually look down on the car from where I was now standing. The Lord took me to a field of corn. I was surrounded by sheaves of corn and I began to walk through them. I realised I was standing in the Harvest Field of salvation and understood that each corn represented someone’s life. I took a sheave of corn and had a complete download about a particular girl’s life- the broken relationship with her dad that caused destruction and abuse, the redemption that came to her life as she met Jesus and then the restoration of her life through worship. I believe that I will meet this person at some point.

Jesus then began to speak to me about the story where He and His disciples pick corn as they walk through a corn field on the Sabbath. The disciples are accused of breaking the law but Jesus rebukes the pharasees and defends their innocence. What was the accusation? That they were doing a job, work and labour on the Sabbath day instead of entering the rest of the Sabbath, and this was breaking one of the 10 Commandments. But Jesus could not break the law because He is perfect – infact he is the fulfillment of the law. He was not breaking the law because He walks in the Sabbath rest; He is Lord of the Sabbath. He rests in completion. In Him IS rest. He has brought us into union.

I sensed that this story is a prophetic picture of the End Time Harvest- it will be reaped in a Sabbath rest. In this account in Matt 12 Jesus says “I desire Mercy” or “I will have Mercy”. I believe we are coming into the greatest Harvest that the Church has ever known, a world wide reaping as a Holy Revelation of God’s Mercy engulfs the globe and people respond in faith to what Christ has done. What is the Sabbath rest about? Mercy.

The universe has entered into the Sabbath Rest- Hebrews 4 describes this- its a pretty sweet state of affairs. God entered into rest on the seventh day- Seven in Hebrew is the numer for Completion and Perfection- and that is was Jesus meant when He said “IT IS FINISHED!!!” Mercy has come.

Jesus showed me that everything that we think He does, is actually a manifestation of His Finished Work. He ‘does’ all these things in rest because He cannot break the law – He fulfills it! Therefore the harvest, all moves of the Spirit, revival, healings,  all things that we ‘do’ in Christ, if it is truly IN CHRIST, is done from Rest. It has to be done from Rest otherwise it has no part with Christ. Christ has ceased from His labours and there is no more work and labour for him, it is actually impossible for Him to DO more for us because He would be breaking the law! He has done it all and is at rest. That is why we can rest and cease from our labours in Mercy.

True rest is not apathetic or lazy. It is a mindset and reality of victory in His Presence that bubbles up in Mercy; whether in healing, salvation, a business plan, economic policy or reformation- His Finished Work invades our life. The Heavens are open over your life, you are seated in Heavenly places.  Let His Presence rise up and enter into His Rest and His Mercy.

While I had this encounter with the Lion of Judah and the Harvest Field in the car my daughter was asleep in the back. The following week we realised she had learned a new trick- roaring!

The Finished Work manifested in our lives over the next few months after this encounter. I saw an increase in healings in my work place, it became so much easier to see healing- on one occasion I felt a gift of faith rise up and I knew everyone I prayer for would be healed in that moment. I saw nine healings in one go with one simple prayer. Over the course of two weeks, at the beginning of the Summer, I saw 35 people respond to the Gospel. One person at work even had a powerful and very real encounter with Christ in a dream!

We decreed an end to the drought a few months before the Summer as a sign that we are not in the wilderness, longing for some far off move of the Spirit but are seated in Heavenly places in Christ – Eden, that we are walking in an Open Heaven. We decreed that the Heavens are open over the UK and God has surprised us with amazing things! In Eden there is fruit: miracles, healings, salvations, angels, the cloud of witnesses and much more! I will be sharing about some of these encounters over the next few posts.

I’m so greatful we don’t need to strive for ‘revival’. Sometimes we can end up competing with other churches and christians for it. We are not looking for a revival to happen in the future at some point because we know that we are the wave, we are revival, we are the awakening NOW! Because we are seated in Christ, the Champion! God has made you a walking catalyst for breakthrough all the time, where ever you are NOW!

I thought that this was pretty amazing: A diamond manifested in our bed a few months ago. If this is not a sign of the Kingdom coming through rest then I don’t know what is!

Harvest Rest pt. 1

Hebrews 4 talks about entering God’s rest; that the children of God can enter His rest by faith. Its amazing how many times i’ve heard multi gold medalist Steve Redgrave talk about the importance of being relaxed and having a laid back attitude towards competing at the highest level in world sports during the Olympics. Stress doesn’t help and doesn’t produce good fruit. I’ve heard athletes being criticised for one thing in the last week: not being relaxed enough during their race. The thing that marks Usain Bolt out above the rest of his competitors is his position of rest, before and even during his race. His body relaxes and rests in a position of total dominance. When you are naturally the fastest person on the planet you don’t have to strive to win! Being yourself is enough!

I’m so glad the Gospel is the natural state of Victory. It is the declaration that you’ve already won! How many comparisons have there already been about Jessica Ennis’ last 800m race and the Gospel? She had already won the gold in the Heptathlon but had one last race to go. This race became 2 emotional victory laps surrounded by an ecstatic crowd of witnesses shouting and crying her on to the finish line. You know Christ died for us and as us? He won for us and as us. Its as if Christ entered and ran every other race in the Heptathlon for Jessica Ennis, won them all and then set her up to run the last 800m as Champion with the knowledge she was already victorious. The last race becomes the victory march!

Winnie Banov is often quoted as saying “the saints were home before they started!”. Do you know you were forgiven before you were born? While we were dead in our sin Christ restored and seated us in Him (Col 2). We are seated in our destination and finishing line already- Christ. Religion says “work for me and i’ll bless you”, but Christ says “sit with me in the blessing.” Not just some, but every spiritual blessing possible! He has given us such an inheritance as Sons already, Heirs to the promise. We just need to open our eyes to the riches of it! When you realise you are a Son you don’t need to strive to achieve victory; you’re sat in it. Relax in Christ by faith. He achieved it all for you! There is so much rest in freedom. Freedom knowing that He poured out His life and gave you everything.

The orphan, not knowing his identity, tries to prove he has worth. So much striving and hard work goes into achieving greatness, proving he is someone. He runs around showing the world what he can accomplish and achieve and he builds a legacy to prove he has value. Orphans build Empires but the Kingdom of God comes through the Son. Adam ran away from his Father and endured a curse of hardship and labour. Jesus rested in His Father, His identity and His Father’s victory, even in death and established the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is like treasure hidden in a field. A man goes out and sells everything to buy the field. Christ poured himself out and gave up everything to purchase you, the treasure, cursed in the ground (Gen 3.17). He purchased you and gave you everything while you were still dead in your sin. God found you, the treasure, while you were covered in dirt, lost in the earth. There is so much rest in knowing your true value and identity; An Heir to the Promise- you’re His treasure! Have faith that being yourself is enough- He gave up everything for it.

The Supernatural Nature of God

It is impossible to believe in God without his help. The act of believing in God is a supernatural gift from Him. Faith is a gift and we can’t drum it up or do it without Him.

Because of Christ’s nature we can’t have faith in God without fully embracing the Supernatural. Christ is both man and God, there is no seperation. God became natural flesh. He is the natural doorway to a supernatural relationship. In Philosophy God is described as being ‘metaphysical’ which means beyond the natural world and it was Christ’s mission to re-connect us within this reality. Because of Christ we are now fully supernatural while being totally natural. You ARE metaphysical. We don’t need to strive to be miraculous; we can rest in our true identity. There is no distance and no seperation between you and supernatural power. You’re plugged in.

God is supernatural, Christ has embraced us into this reality and so we are fully supernatural Sons. He has made us whole!

It is impossible for you to not be supernatural! Sitting takes no effort and it is by realising we are sat in Christ we can wield true authority. This is not just for one off displays of power like Elijah but is for an eternal union with Christ. And this is why the greatest displays of God’s raw power will be seen by a company of Sons intoxicated by His love while gazing into His eyes! They won’t be contending for the miracle, they will be resting in Him.

So while the media are declaring over the UK that this summer there will be droughts, we are saying there will be no droughts! The UK is not in a desert season! We make a decree that before this summer the land will be watered and we command the natural land to recognise
its spiritual reality – in Christ there is no desert season and no drought! We believe weather
patterns will come into line with truth this summer!

Glory!

A New Era: New Covenant Christianity

20141129-172031-62431876.jpg

Christianity as we know it is permanently changing before our eyes.

I heard this story relayed by a leader of the Toronto Airport Church- that in the early days of Toronto prayers like “Holy Spirit we give you permission to move” were prayed at the start of the meeting. The Glory would fall and the meeting would blow up. These prayers were prayed until God said one day – “I don’t need your permission to move!”

It got me thinking that God often moves despite us and not because of us! He blessed the meetings in Toronto but this was not an endorsement that everything they did and said was good and right. A ‘move of the Spirit,’ ‘revival’, ‘wave’ whatever you want to call it, will never be a badge of accomplishments or an endorsement that we have got it right, or that our mindsets are correct. It will never be a brownie badge for how much we have fasted and prayed to get Him to do something. The Spirit is not our badge of achievement, He is our friend! He wants you to enjoy Him in the perfect union that cost Christ everything.

God wants to do something new and different than he did in the 90s. He wants us to think beyond another Toronto Blessing or Outpouring. We have got to think differently because God is going to do and is doing something New and Amazing. It looks totally different. The New will blow the old box up! The old mindsets and ministry models are being redefined. It’s not that they were wrong; they were good for a season but they can become stumbling blocks for the ‘now’.

Jesus spoke about this:

‘To what can I compare this generation. They are like children sitting in the marketplace calling out “We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.” 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, “He has a demon!” 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, “Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!” Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.’
Matthew 11.

God will not dance to the rhythm we set! He taught us to pray “Your Will be Done”! When John came he brought a message and a manifestation for a certain season. When Christ came he looked and acted differently but was anointed by the same Spirit for a new season. He ushered in the New Era. We need the Spirit of Wisdom to recognise the NEW because it won’t look anything like the old. If we don’t have wisdom we will judge the new by the old and discard it. We have done the same programs and events year after year and expected different results. Not only is this the definition of insanity, God has moved on and it’s time for change!

God is redefining Christianity before our eyes. The Kingdom of God is always advancing and so if we try to recreate or revisit something He did 20 years ago we will miss what He wants to do today! Hebrews 3.15 says “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts”. There is a call going out to people to recognise what God is doing TODAY. God is asking us to not harden our hearts towards the New Thing He is doing. We cannot afford to be offended by what he is doing or what it looks like. There is a blessing waiting beyond offense. Matthew 11 says: “Blessed are those who are not offended because of me.” We have lived in a season of John the Baptist; believing we are in the wilderness, as prophets called to the desert and to the hard place, to suffer and mourn but Christ is calling us to recognise we are in the New Covenant – the New Era. This is marked by Eden, paradise and Bliss: Union with Christ!

Image

Mike Bickel said a few years ago that God was about to do something so amazing He would redefine Christianity in a generation. The prophets have been talking about it for a while: Jason Westerfield has prophesied that we are in a time of reformation and Martin Scott has prophesied that the birthing of a whole new era is coming. Dave Vaughan of the New Ecstatics (the ministry we are associated with) had an encounter where God showed him Martin Luther pacing back and forth. In this encounter Luther was thinking these same thoughts for reformation and transformation exactly 500 years ago. Luther spent 10 years meditating on Romans and Hebrews and from this he wrote his ‘Ninety Five Theses’. He nailed this to the door of the church in Wittenberg in 1517 (according to one source). This marked the start of the reformation.

God is causing the current reformers to meditate and feast on the same scriptures as 500 years ago! Romans has opened up to so many in such a new way.

Reformation

I can see that the coming reformation will reveal a greater understanding of New Covenant Christianity. It will affect many areas but I’ve highlighted these 3:

  1. How we view God:

We are understanding that God is not some angry, vengeful Father but a God who is and always was Good! Jesus is the most complete representation of the Father- “when you’ve seen me…” We are moving beyond the scary, angry God found in penal substitution as God reveals more of who he is, to rediscover an older and more orthodox view of God found in the works of the early church fathers and displayed in the Christus Victor atonement theory.

We are also seeing coming to a fresh revelation of the power of the cross – and it’s implications – that God fully accomplished all things through the cross.

This is the Finished Works- that He truly defeated every foe and is seated above every principality and power (Ephesians 1.21). Christ has effortless supremacy (Colossians 1.15) and we too have been seated in Him in the Heavenly realms (Ephesians 2.6, Colossians 3). Because of this we can rest in His Finished Work rather than striving to complete something for God or battle in spiritual warfare against something we feel we need to defeat. He defeated them all, He made captivity captive! (Romans 8.37, Ephesians 1.22 and 4.8, 1 Corinthians 15.27 and 46, Colossians 2.15)

This affects everything. He is victorious and by resting in faith in Him, we will see His victory rise and manifest all around us. We don’t need to do spiritual mapping or wrestle against principalities and powers. We are called to believe the truth and strangely by resting in His victory we begin to walk in it! First as individuals, then as a company, and then to change a nation.

Image

2. How we view ourselves:

You no longer have a sinful nature (Romans 6) and because God has accomplished all things He has made us New Creations (2 Corinthians 5.17). God has rewired our humanity with His divinity. We are not sinners running scared of a judgemental God but are Sons adopted into His family with the same divine DNA running through our veins.

We are seated in Christ (Ephesians 2.6) and have the image of God restored on the inside of us. We have been united with Christ the King forever (Romans 6) and through this union we have access to a royal inheritance fit for gods.

The problem has been that we haven’t realised this and so have not operated from this revelation. We’ve been homeless, eating from a pig’s trough, when we could have been eating the fatted calf with our Father the King. The truth is we have the fullness of the Godhead, the Glory residing within us. We can access every spiritual blessing and gifting and have been given the fullness (Colossians 2.10).

We access all this by faith which is a gift. We did nothing to get it and our efforts to strive to attain all this are not needed (Ephesians 2.8). But all this is available as a free gift as Sons for our inheritance. We will do and see the most incredible things ever seen on earth because of what He has done (Philipians 4.13, Mark 9.23). The Gospel is built around the supernatural because He is supernatural.

3. How we view community:

Christ destroyed the Temple and rebuilt it in 3 days (Matthew 26.61) – that is you! The New Creation is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6). Because of this we no longer have to strive to go to a church building or temple. We are the Body of Christ and this transcends manmade denominations, boundaries, walls and structure.

We are seated IN CHRIST above these divisions (Ephesians 2.6). We can enjoy community and friendship wrapped up in Christ every day and all around us. This is the true Body of Christ – focused on friendship and family, rather than meetings and buildings. We are the living stones of the Church – in the world but not of it, wrapped up in love for one another, worshipping in Spirit and Truth (John 4).

In the Old Covenant people had to travel to a particular place to worship God. In the New Covenant god revealed that ‘He is with us’. He is here all the time because He resides within us! The focus on going to the Sunday morning meeting is being overtaken by a lifestyle of the Glory manifesting in our homes. Signs, wonders and the Spirit will not be contained by a building, conference or meeting but will be demonstrated by Sons and Daughters where ever they are, all the time. They know who they are because of what He has done.

People will realise they don’t have to go to church to get ‘filled up’ but will manifest a Glory that resides in their home all the time! This will cause gatherings to happen around the Presence, around the Cloud of His Glory, rather than individuals and organisations.

There will still be corporate gatherings, wider celebrations, and this may or may not be in a local congregation on a Sunday. But the focus will shift dramatically away from the maintenance of these meetings to life and family. We will also see bigger sized gatherings of the tens of thousands in stadiums .

After the visible manifestations of the Glory in Bethel, Bill Johnson commented that there would be a shift in the focus of gatherings and people would gather around the Presence. I believe that the manifest Presence will gather people together- in homes and in stadiums.

The charismatic personalities of leaders that have drawn people together in the past will be irrelevant as people focus on the Glory rather than man.  The revelation that Church is something we are, rather than something we are trying to maintain will be caught.

Fear and control

In short the fear and control that has ruled so much within the Church  – fear that God is not on our side; fear that He will not be with us; fear He will not show up and the control that this has caused in the running of our churches and ministries will be crushed by the Spirit and Revelation of Sonship (2 Timothy 1.7, Romans 8).

Fear and control causes ‘bewitchment’ and Paul rebuked the Galatians (Galatians 3) for becoming ‘bewitched’. What we will see is the deliverance of the church from the fear and control that causes bewitchment (witchcraft) with the Spirit of Sonship.

Luther lives today!

In the next 10 years there will be books, webcasts or documents of some sort which will be written by modern day Luthers, which will be the nail in the coffin for contemporary Christianity. This is the significance of the hour we live in. God will use these articles to be so influential they will redefine Christianity and will be studied for the next few hundred years.

They won’t just be academic pieces of writing; they will carry the manifest Glory of God, they will manifest supernatural signs and wonders. And their heart cry will be the message of the Finished Works of the Gospel. I have already read some of the books that will become ‘classics’.

Honestly I can’t go back to ‘normal Christianity’. I have tried! But we have seen something New! And it is Glorious!

The underground move of God which is happening right now will overtake the norm and it is out of our control. The word ‘revival’ will be made redundant as people realise it is the normal Gospel life of a Son. One of the most exciting moments in the last few weeks for me was overhearing some ‘non Christian’ people at work talking about healing. One person was describing to his friend a healing he had experienced when I had prayed for him and how amazing it was. A few minutes later he realised I was there and turned to me and said how convinced of God’s healing power he was.

There are signs and wonders happening by the nameless and faceless all over the country. In work, on the street, in the home, over dinner, in cafes, at church meetings; God is moving out of the box. It is not by our efforts; we can’t claim this one as ours I’m afraid! But it’s by His Spirit because of the victory He won on the cross. Not by our efforts! He will not dance for us or mourn for our dirges! The Lord is doing His own thing and it is out of our control.

God over Time

[We are in a Revolution: A total or radical change; return to a point before occupied; the overthrow or renunciation of one government, and the substitution of another, by the governed.]

The Gospel is the Supernatural and so we don’t need to try very hard to live a supernatural lifestyle. The Father had a plan and He watched it unfold with His children. He set it out in Genesis when He said “Let us make man in our image.” The Father understood the fall would happen and when He sent the Messiah it was not as a reaction to His plan gone wrong! The Messiah was sent as the Gateway into the Trinity. Through Christ our substitute, we were brought IN to the image of God. We are now seated in Christ, within the very image of God. We reflect His Glory and in our New Creation state, are now made in and within His image.

It all happened within His timing. He brought fulfillment to the prophetic word. Christ is fulfillment and we are now seated within Him and His timing. We can rest in fulfillment. It says in Revelation 19.10 that the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. What is His testimony? That he brought fulfillment. As we believe this testimony the New Covenant Spirit of Prophecy can be released. This Word Decrees “No More Delay” and “Fulfillment”. As this Word is established we begin to live in the reality of the synchronization of Heaven and Earth. And as this spiritual principle is established it manifests in the natural. It brings the Father’s timing in the natural and brings the natural into line with the Kingdom’s timings because Christ is the fullness and completion of time.

When we rest in completion His timing can manifest.

Recently on a journey back from Leeds on the M1 it took us 15 minutes to drive 30 miles. We were driving at 60/70 miles an hour (my wife was driving) and had just been involved in a prophetic event in a pub in Beeston. I had got about 8 Words of Knowledge for Healing and had prayed for numerous people to be healed. As we left we were chatting about the fact God had done some good stuff. I looked at the time and it was 10.42 as we joined the M1. As we left the M1 30 miles or so later after Meadowhall, the time was 10.55. We double and treble checked what time it was but even with a stop in McDonalds we got home supernaturally fast. The Spirit of Prophecy brings completion and manifests God’s timing.

The journey is much shorter than we think! We have already arrived at our destination.

The House on the Rock

Welcome to our blog!

[We are in a Revolution: A total or radical change; return to a point before occupied; the overthrow or renunciation of one government, and the substitution of another, by the governed.]

I used to think that my passion for God, miracles, signs, wonders and revival rested on my own hunger for them. I believed that I had to wrestle and contend for breakthrough in order to continually live under an open heaven. And beneath it all was a constant worry- what if I stop believing? What if I stop having faith in miracles? What if I get disillusioned and stop being ‘radical’? How do I maintain this passion and fire? What if I stop being hungry?

I wrestled with these questions in the same way that someone who builds his house on the sand struggles with subsidence. Man this seems so foreign to me now! Its only foreign because it’s foreign to The Messiah who resides within me.

Thank God for the revelation of the Gospel! My efforts are no longer necessary because I received faith as a gift.

Breakthrough was established by the gift of Christ. He gave His life so that we could live in Jubilee, seated on the Rock. The Keys of the Kingdom were given to Peter – The Rock and Christ said to him ‘On you I shall build my church’. The church is supposed to be built and established on the Rock of the Gospel as a foundation. The Rock is Christ’s Victory. When the rain comes and storms of life hit, the Gospel doesn’t change! It is not affected by the seasons of life- when tough times come His grace is sufficient and we walk through the valley of death fearing no man! Joy doesn’t go! Peace doesn’t leave! The whack stays! We are seated in Christ who slept through the storms! He woke up in the midst of a storm, couldn’t understood the anxiety of the disciples and in his groggy state commanded the storm to be still.

Resting in Christ naturally manifests the miracle we need. Resting in Christ manifests the faith to live in constant breakthrough. Resting in Christ establishes us on the Rock- the Mountain of God where true Governmental authority comes. The Rock is Christ’s Victory. The foolish build their house on the sand. It is established by their own efforts and because of this remains in the desert, not on the Rock of Christ’s Victory!

Martin Luther King pronounced the day before his assassination that he ‘feared no man.’ This came after the plane he had just travelled on was delayed because of a bomb threat aimed at killing him. He was established on the rock. He said in his last speech ‘I have been up the Mountain and my eyes have seen the Glory’. He knew where he was seated – up the mountain! He was established in Christ on the Rock and was seated on the Mountain of the Lord. What he discovered up there was the true Governmental authority of the Son. What changed the course of the nation was simply a man who discovered where he was sat.

Martin Luther King died the day after this speech.

Scotland and other thoughts for 2012

Over the New Year God spoke the same word to Sarah and me about Scotland. He said exactly the same phrase word for word:

Its time for Scotland to rise up and take its place among the nations.

We feel that Scotland will begin to be honoured in its own right this year. Firstly in Europe and then in the world. Whether this means it will gain independence i’m not sure but it will begin to be honoured as nation in a way that it has not before. New links will be made into Europe for business as the mindset of the nation changes from oppression to freedom. Glasgow will be honoured as a major European city and will be called ‘Significant’. The motto on the Glasgow coat of arms is ‘Lord, let Glasgow flourish through the preaching of thy word and the praising of thy name’, and we believe that in 2012 this identity will begin to be restored to the city.  I see some celebrations in Edinburgh too.

I also see race riots hitting England in 2012 in several major cities and I see the BNP hitting news headlines again. I believe that February will be a key month for the economic situation. A couple of blogs ago I wrote about a double dip and second recession which we are now in but I know that the revelation of the Gospel will produce an economic solution- a new economic system. Someone seated on the Rock will calm the economic storms.
